Haven't read that one yet. 'Waiting for the Barbarians,' however, made a profound impact on me.

Disgrace was the first Coetzee I read and it made me love him with muscles. There's a place on one of my bookshelves where he, Dennis Cooper, and Harry Crews all sleep. They're a three-punch knockout combo.

Dear Blake,
My name is Trinie and I'm an author who has some mutual friends and interests (Dennis Cooper pub'd my first book and I think we both went to Bennington!). Congrats on your new book! I wanted to reach you in interest of getting my new story collection galleys, Baby Geisha, into your hands for possible HTML Giant consideration. I also just wanted to say hello and introduce myself so we can be in touch in general. I hope this note arrives to you and that it finds you well. And if you'd like a copy of my book, what's the best way to get it to you? You can e me at sweettombblog@gmail.com, that's my author page email offshoot from sweettomb.com.

Take care and thanks,
Trinie Dalton
