Jereme Dean again benevolently bought a bunch more copies of Scorch Atlas to give away. For one, just comment on this thread with anything and I will put you into a drawing for it, done on Tuesday.
I killed all of my links mostly, cuz linking 50 people seems insane, and not linking 200 other people seems insane. I've had complex linking guilt for a long while now and so just decided to erase it. I will link things now from the postbody, as they are better there. What is linking.
@Deckfight, a list of the 5 best things I've read lately
@Holy Land, Rauan Klassnik talks about his experience so far 45 pages into Scorch Atlas: "like biting into a burning apple. A sizzling cherry. Each taste's a piece of fire that whirrs on the tongue and surrounds the brain in a live-dead sack of cold-burning aura. This book's going on my night stand next to Finnegan's Wake..."
@htmlgiant, I wrote about my experience of the &now conference
Should I call my novel Beehiveded. No. I want to just call it Exit. I like the long title but maybe should just make it brutally short. Should it be called O0o0oo000oo, or another unspeakable chain. I don't know. No. I'm way behind on everything.
The rest of this year will be spent focusing.

Have been meaning to buy a copy. Would appreciate a free one, if I am lucky.
Hi Blake, it was good to meet you in person, and what I really wanted to say while shaking your hand was Congratulations...
Word brother, I'd love a copy. If I get it I'll try and write on it, not that you need any more good words - everyone loves it so much I'm sure I will too!
I remember the day you linked me, and I thought, "I have arrived." I hear you, though; linking is a strange bird. Just wanted to stop in and say good luck with the focusing.
thanks guys
and thanks molly. it doesn't mean i don't still have the love. :O
I dropped my copy in the bathtub last night. I was just writing about it on my blog.

I really want to read Scorch Atlas asap (I enjoyed Ever a lot, so there you go). Would kill for a free copy. Or, you know, instead of kill, leave this comment.
repeat first comment.
exit is a sweet title.
i think "behived" would be a cool title
Enter me in the contest, please. I haven't bought it 'cause I don't believe in ordering direct from the publisher and cutting out my local bookstores, but none of my local bookstores seem to have it in stock, and I wanted to look at it before I bought it. Yeah.
If you title the novel "Exit" people will immediately think of Sartre's "No Exit".
Do you think people will defile copies of your book after having missed out on the limited run of those defiled by you to try to forge their own, to kid themselves? I'm going to have to come up with a scheme, if I win that is.
I like contests! Goody!

I spelled that "contexts" and then "contets" and then "consts". My students are getting their money's worth this morning I can tell.
sell yourself
I would like a free copy. I already have one, but I would like to give it to someone who hasn't read your work yet, or like slip it in the library stacks here and see if anyone notices.
i remember feeling sad about not being linked on here, but then i realized that was a stupid thing to be sad over and was never sad again.
but the initial anger towards you...has never left.
:)
I like BeehiveDed. I don't like OooOooOoo. Exit seems not good enough for you.
hey i'd love a copy of scorch atlas more than pretty much anything right now, have no money whatsoever otherwise it'd have been bought by now. cd you enter me in to the free copy draw please?
Blake... totally turned one of my promising young students onto your book and websites today... she came to conference saying she wanted to look at fiction differently... and I said, "I got the author for you!"... she was super excited to see someone doing something so different. SA is up soon in my reading pile... Hope you are well. Are you going to AWP this year?
Am i too late? NOOooooooooooooooo
i.e please enter me into the draw.
