Great work getting in the diagram. Congrats all around on that one. List item 36 is my favorite.

Hey, do you have that large wooden mammal's email address? Just asking.

I read your list in diagram. It's very good. I love the first line.

I got rejected from diagram once. I think it's because my boobs are only DD.

Blake,

Line 36 and 50 are my favorites.

Off topic but have you ever tried Lucid Dreaming?

BLAKE BUTLER said...

kathy & daniel: thank you....

jereme: yes, i used to be very good at lucid dreaming. i practiced myself into a state where i could do it pretty much every night. unfortunately i've lost the touch. do you?

how do you learn lucid dreaming?

BLAKE BUTLER said...

there are ways you can train your mind to realize when you are sleeping while in a dream. after realizing this, you can then begin to alter the path of the dream. if you google how to lucid dream, there are a handful of websites who give info on the cues and methods you can use to learn to make that realization. it takes a lot of patience and repetition though.

Yes I practice it by i'm still a neophyte.

I find it easier to be aware that I am in a dream state when intoxicated but can't alter its direction.

Wikipedia has some decent information with links to other sites.

I've only once experienced lucid dreaming and it was a wholly uninvited experience. I woke up to myself midway through a nightmare in which I had just attempted to murder my partner in the dank corridors of a cartoonish mental asylum. I followed the trail of blood he'd left for a long time, screaming "wake up Lyndall" in horror before finding him with amputated arms in a small green room lit by a bare light bulb. I finally woke up at this point, mercifully.
