nonexistent novel excerpt

An excerpt from my unfinished and currently by the wayside novel INVISIBLE ERRORS is now live up at WANDERING ARMY. The novel is about an accused pedophile who is not really a pedophile. This excerpt is from somewhere in the middle. I don't know if I'll ever finish the novel. I don't know if I'll ever finish anything. Or that anything can be finished. Or that birds eat seed.

Read it here: What I've Been and Where I'm Going and Would You Like Your Sandwich Toasted?.

To receive this publication, I ruined everything else in my life forever.

Good work. Congrats on all the recent publications. Blake Butler is everywhere. Hey, if you get the all-knowing (which may already be the case), the all-powerful (see previous parenthetical), and the all-loving (), let me know if it really is impossible to remove the potential for evil from the human condition. Thanks.

Don't sweat it, nothing is ever finished.

That is the only way to do it.

Using absolutist language is fun, and temporarily reassuring.

Thanks Josh. I definitely do not think it is possible to remove evil in another person. They have to minimize it themselves. Some people probably can't.

I'm all about so absolutist language now and then.

AS long as man seeks woman evil will be present.

We do bad shit in the pursuit.

I think most evil acts can be traced back to the pursuit.

Some may be patent, some may be underlining.

Men are stupid.
